 Sexing: Males are larger and more colourful than the females.

Breeding: A breeding pair will spend a considerable time together laying eggs on the substrate. The breeding process is slow in these fish and can last a few days.

Additional Information: These truly attractive little fish are a species of Killifish endemic to Western African Lakes and Rivers. Only growing to about 2.5cm they can be kept in the smaller aquarium. They display amazingly bright orange/red colours along with some fluorescent blue along the body. They are best kept in planted aquariums that represent their natural habitat of the Ecucu River.
