Freshwater Aquariums For Dummies Book Review

Freshwater Aquariums For Dummies

Well this is the first ever book I read on Tropical fish. I got this even before I owned an aquarium, it was for my 19th birthday. When I originally looked at it I thought is tropical fish for me but I have read some of the other for dummies books and had been impressed so I thought let’s give it ok.

The language used in the book is very easy to understand, and the step by step
instructions on all aspects of fish keeping, from the tank set-up to the
purchasing of fish is easy to understand. There is also lots of useful
information on topics such as keeping your fish healthy, adding plants to the
aquarium and even breeding your fish. Granted this book is never going to go into massive detail but it has a great overview.

My only downside is the book is aimed towards the USA market but if you know how to use search engines you will not have a problem finding the products it recommends here in the UK. Or better still www.tropicalfishsite.com will have the answer.

I would recommend this to anyone that wants a physical book to read instead of sitting on a laptop, tablet or at your desk with a PC. This is great on getting started in tropical fish keeping.
